About Leslie
I first became interested in autism as an undergraduate at UCSB many years ago. I signed up to volunteer for an autism study, and I was hooked! I went on to do my graduate studies at Florida State University under the supervision of Dr. Amy Wetherby. I worked for several years as a speech-language pathologist and then took a hiatus to raise my own three sons. More recently, I had the privilege of working at the Rocky Mountain Autism Center and learning from Dr. Patrick Rydell. For the past four years, I have had the good fortune to collaborate with Mo and our team of amazing women in an inclusive preschool classroom with children on the autism spectrum.
About Mo
I received a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Central Michigan University. I then received my Early Childhood Endorsement, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from Grand Valley State University. I am currently an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher specializing in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
